Access to hard drive contents is only possible by passing the RFID tag over the unit thereby unlocking the data for usage. Without the radio frequency identification tags or with incorrect tags, your movies, TV shows, music, photos, pictures, documents, and other materials are safe from unauthorized access!
How does it work? The HDD enclosure emits a low power radio frequency field. When one of the ID tags is passed over the top of the drive, the unit verifies the tag and un-encrypts the data allowing you access. To re-lock or make your drive contents safe again, just slide the ID tag over the drive once more! Solidly constructed and well designed, the entire enclosure is streamlined with no protruding buttons or switches making it perfect for the mobile traveler.
